These vitamins for healthy hair actually help to stimulate the body’s use of all the vitamins in the body, by increasing the development of new cells, including hair follicles.

  • Biotin strengthens hair and nails and improves their elasticity, thus preventing breakage. It also thickens hair follicles.
  • Vitamin B3 (niacin) helps with blood circulation to the scalp, thus promoting hair growth.
  • Vitamin B5 slows down hair loss and actually delays the onset of grey hair.
  • Vitamins B6 and B12 increases melanin which maintains the colour of the hair and also prevents further loss.
